Under the new Federal Goverment the ACC network will transition to Regional Development Australia.
The Sunshine Coast Area Consultative Committee (SCACC) is the key regional development network for the Australian Government in our region. The SCACC is part of the national network of 54 Area Consultative Committees.
We are a community based, non-profit organisation, funded by the Australian Government under the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government. The SCACC members and staff work in partnership with government, business and the community to promote the strategies of economic, environmental and social development.
The SCCC identifies opportunities and priorities for our region and helps to develop strategies in partnership with the Federal Government and key stakeholders. The strategies developed by the SCACC provide direction and identify the region's priorities for Government funding.
